Sync error 0x83860012

I just upgraded to a one x and have been really looking forward to checking out the performance increase on subnautica.
However, the game save will not sync to my new one x. As the title says, I get the error code: 0x83860012. I've reinstalled the game 3x (once on a network xfer from my original Xbox), deleted/reloaded my profile, done hard resets, and even factory resets (keeping saves/data and also without). Nothing seems to work. I have an external drive being delivered tomorrow, so I'm going to try copying the game data from my original Xbox and transferring it to the new one x. But, is anyone else getting this error code? Anyone know of solutions? Right after xmas there must be dozens of us. Dozens!

In order to play SN, I must disable the Xbox Live save game function.

Probable cause;
Xbox Live doesn't have a game save for SN.
I have reinstalled SN 5 times since the C&C update. This issue can not be resolved by reinstalling SN.

Customizable empty module for the Seatruck

The Seatruck feels like a bit of a downgrade from the Cyclops due to its lack of ability to be designed by the player (other than choosing the order of the modules).
It would be nice to include a module that is blank and allows the player to build in it. This would allow for things like plant pots, or a module that involves both a fabricator and some storage lockers, etc.

Additionally, it would be great to include an upgrade module that allows for upgrades to be installed for the Seatruck. Thereby it can have functionalities such as the Cyclops' sonar and shield generator.

Yeah, look, I do know that it's time of tolerance and all that, but still... Why not to give us a variety? You see, I want to play a white male character because I AM a white male guy. I want to equate myself with a survivor, and I won't be able to do that with a black female hero, whose hands and voice (screams) I hear all the time while playing. This will just ruin all the atmosphere for me. In the first game it was not that bad cause hero was male at least. So really, there is nothing in terms of racism e.t.c. to give us an option to choose the gender and skin color when starting the new game.

are xbox one console commands still useable

I've played subnotica on the Xbox sense April of 2018 and I was able to do things such as use the debug menu and the coordinates but I can't use them any more. Are they still usable in game just under a different button combination, or have they been removed entirely?

#1 Cyclops Bay Prawn or Seamoth both get stuck character won't exit the cockpit of either

#2 Cyclops Outer bay doors won't open resulting in Issue 1

#3 base Moonpools won't allow vehicle to dock unless you hop out deconstruct a window reinforced wall etc then you can dock.

#4 Bulkhead doors sfx and animation are missing camera shakes

S.B: Mikro 17 BulkHead doors 2 moonpools Use to work fine in Preview Builds before dec 4th 2018

Game stuck on main menu?

My games loading up the menu fine, allows me to press start before suddenly freezing on the menu screen and never loading the game, I’ve tried a hard reset, reinstalling twice and still no success. Was looking forward to playing this game but this is just ridiculous. Any one got a solution?

Subnautica Patch: PlayStation 4 (1.07)

Hi, everyone.
Going forward I'm going to post a new topic here for each console patch so we can gather feedback(positive and negative). Let me know if this is helpful/feedback is appreciated.

We've just released a new patch for Subnautica on PS4, it may take some time to appear on your console but it is making its way as we speak.

PS4 Patch Notes(1.07)
- Fix for photo album not saving
- Fix for Aurora locker room false wall
- Improvements to Seamoth docking
- Optimizations to address memory related crashes in end game

Thank you everyone who has submitted feedback in game, we do not respond to most but we are using this feedback to prioritize bugs and to reproduce issues you're seeing. We've added more specific error messaging for save game errors, so if you ever experience an issue with an error while saving please post it in our Bug Reporting forum and a link in this thread if you don't mind.

We are already working on the next set of patches, and the Xbox equivalent of this patch is going through the certification process as we speak.

Or the plan is already full and the supplements will be exceptionally small: animal/plant/interface edit/etc...

Files corrupting

So, I have subnautica on my PC, and sometimes it crashes (mainly my GPU's fault), but the thing is, whenever I save/ it autosaves at the moment I crash the whole file is gone. I lost 3 saves so far with this and a fix would be appreciated.

Maybe you can have a backup option in the settings, where there is another file from the previous save, so if it crashes you just go back to that moment.

Im Moment bin ich ja so ziemlich der einzige, der das Spiel übersetzt, was gerade bei Enzyklopädieeinträgen etwas langwierig ist.
Wäre schön, wenn sich noch andere beteiligen. Ich guck alle paar Tage mal rein, um nach neuen Einträgen Ausschau zu halten. Ich bin auch der amtierende Moderator für die Deutschsektion, ich sichte also auch alle Übersetzungen, bevor sie übernommen werden.

Do you Challenge yourself while playing Subnautica

Giving the fact that the game has no established goals so far than plain survival i found that challenging myself sometimes keeps me pumped up to play the game :) Examples of challenges i previously set onto myself in the past. It can be any or a combination of several

Last as long as possible:

-Without making water from Airsacks
-Without making food out of any kind of fish (that one is hard, gotta last only on nutrient blocks then creepvine at beginning before reaching the island for fruits/vegetables/plants
-Without killing any fish whatsoever (that one is hard too specially after getting the seamoth, its hard to not speedbumps any of those lil buggers)
-Without getting damaged at all
-Without dying (obviously when not in a hardcore game)
-Without using airtanks and not die

or other challenges such as:

-Not get noticed at all by a Reaper
-Speedruns (i.e Get every poss blueprints + create/find/own every possible things + make a base in every biomes, the sky is the limits on possible speedruns)
-Create the most humongous base you can without using the Nocost/Item console cheat (yes, very time-consuming)

Im sure there are tons of other challenges i havent thought of too. Ill surely continue to challenge myself again in the future until the devs design concrete purposes story-wise for the game.

So tell me what are YOUR challenges peoples, im dead curious to know! :smiley:

Ideas For Subnautica Below Zero

So what do you think should be in Below Zero?
I’m not really sure, because i’m really happy with what the the developers have come up with so far, but I am very curious to know if there will be a pet you can have and if there is, what is it? I was thinking about some sort of creature that can survive on land and underwater. I was thinking that you could tame it in the wild or just hatch it from an egg. It should also be able to help with certain things like scavenging for certain items and it should attack whatever attacks you, but it won’t atack what you hit, unless it’s a hostile creature.
So anyways, what ideas do you have for Below Zero?

Hello,

since the last update, subnautica doesn't lunch ( on steam ). "prêt à jouer" ( ready to play" ? ) on when i lunch the game " en cours" ( "running" ?) on after 2 secondes "prêt à jouer".

I have a AMD A10 elite quad-core, radeon 8670 2gb

Maybe there are a patch ?? or an other tips ?

3rd Person View Option, and other character stuff...

Hey guys I'm back, been a long time...

1. Today I'm wondering of peoples thoughts on adding a 3rd person view, now about 2 years ago the devs said they would think about it.
I believe it would be cool to see the animations much better.

NOTE: This will not be primary view, i agree that the first person view is absolutely essential to the story line... as a dev option or better a console line command, would be a nice amenity.

What happened to the 3d paper doll we were promised and was in a special version? I miss it. The drag and drop character thingy.

Game worked fine until it didn't - iMac late 2015 27"

I don't anticipate anyone can solve my specific problem - but I'd love a clue. My Imac's a late 2015 27". 1. Was running High Sierra. I bought Below Zero on Steam (my first Steam game) 2. Game runs fine for two weeks. 3. One day, I can't log in. All my user profiles are gone (I looked for a user list via Terminal while in recovery mode.) Try everything, contact tech support, decide to wipe drive. Upgrade to Mojave while I'm at it. 4. Reinstall game. Now it crashes every couple of minutes. 5. Create a dual boot HD, High Sierra/Mojave. 6. Game still crashes, on either partition. Tabs are crashing on Waterfox randomly (a first for me) 7. How do I approach this logically? I've done everything suggested on the UW and Steam troubleshooting guides. If something never worked, that's one thing, but this situation is different and it's really frustrating. I love this game!
