cant run the editor

hi i was traying to run the editor, cinematics,etc and i got this error

"unable to initialize render device" why is that?.

i can run the game at medium graphics so i dont understand why it doesnt work. can someone help?

these are my spect

cpu: quad core q6600 2.4 ghz
4 gb of ram ddr2
windwos xp home edition
nvidia geforce 9500 gt 1 gb ddr2

any help to run these programs?
