I picked up the i5-4670k today, and simply bumped up core voltage to 1.25 volts and changed the multiplier to 43x, for a conservative overclock of 4.3Ghz. With a Noctua NH-D14, my max temp in NS2 is 39 degrees Celcius. (Good overclock guide here: http://www.overclockers.com/3step-guide-to-overclock-intel-haswell)
Very noticeable difference from my old i5-750 @ 4.1Ghz. Frames went up overall by about 10-15% (which is maybe, on average, a 10fps increase across the board), but what struck me most was how much smoother the game play was. Less "jitter" also (read here: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/130532/80-fps-feels-like-40). This means skulk movements seemed slower (not as eratic and jumpy); I could also actually track fade blinks better as the trail is slightly more apparent; and finally, hit reg seemed much, much better.
