I have gotten banned from virtually every server I've ever played on in this game for "hacking." I do not hack or cheat. While I admit that this communities ridiculous tendency towards admin lameness isn't the #1 reason the game has been dying (performance #1 reason, horrible emphasis on "atmosphere" over game play being #2), it seems like this stuff is a constant problem. In the end, next steam sale I'll buy a couple more accounts if I still want to play NS2 but I bet a lot of people aren't' willing to do this kind of stuff.
