Bots don't command, glitch against walls and the like.

Hi, I'm a relatively new player to NS2 and like most new players, I did the tutorial then went to play VS Bots. I checked the box to have both sides be commanded by bots so I can focus on the action, but after a matter of minutes both commanders leave the post. Many of the bots also glitch in the map by running back and forth around certain places and not progressing. It's quite buggy and makes for a very difficult learning experience. I am playing on the Descent map, with 5 Aliens and 5 Marines on a 12-capacity server, passworded so I can just learn on my own.
