@Name issues

I've noticed that when you use the '@' tag to alert a user in a post, you can't put a space in the name.
For example:
@Fluid Core, when I want it to be @(Fluid Core). Using '_' instead of the space doesn't work, as it links to a different profile.
Is there a workaround for this? Space delimiter, etc?
